Perth Industrial Market Thriving: New Building Leased Prior to Completion

The Perth Industrial Market is experiencing a period of strong growth, with the successful leasing of a design and build industrial property at 19 Glassford Road, Kewdale being a prime example.

The market is strong and growing, with an increase in demand for quality industrial space. The Kewdale market in particular, has always been strong due to it s proximity to major transport routes, including the all-important Kewdale Freight Terminal.

SVN | Perth recently completed the successful leasing of the speculatively constructed industrial property on Glassford Road, which has been met with great optimism and excitement. Working closely with the owner, we were able to secure a long-term tenant for the property, an impressive accomplishment given the fact that the build was still 5 months from completion at the time the deal was struck.

The new tenant, a national logistics company, was attracted to the property due to its versatile design and proximity to major transportation hubs. The tenant is looking forward to taking advantage of all the modern amenities the property has to offer.

The property itself will be quite impressive. It will offer 8,033sqm of land, including space for 44 parking bays, and good quality site access with a six metre wide concrete driveway around the building. Built with tilt panel construction, the brand new 3,611sqm office/warehouse features a fully sprinklered high truss, clear span warehouse and six roller door access points.
